Winter Soulstice Day 11

Happy holidays, and WOW! We have had 13 entrants to yesterday's raffle so far, which is totally crazy to me -- and if you want to enter, you still can, as that raffle is being rolled tomorrow! As promised, today's raffles offer more opportunites to win winter seasonal traits... and another design raffle, yay!
Tomorrow is our final Inpus affiliate raffle! I've loved running them for you all, and I've been so excited to see people from Wispcats interested in Inpus, and people from Inpus interested in us!! If you haven't been reading about them previously, Inpus (rhymes with Octopus!) are a tiny humanoid plant based closed species, reminiscent of fairies or pixies! For every day that we have an affiliate raffle, if you join both of our holiday raffles, you get an extra ticket for both! Inpus raffles are posted on their Toyhouse each day, and if you want to make sure you don't miss them, you can join their Discord for the announcement pings!

...And you find yourself somewhere else entirely!
The Aurora still shines overhead, but you find yourself at the base of a snowcovered hill, instead of nestled between stones -- and a few paces onwards, you see Winter, waiting for you patiently.
"Not a bumpy ride, I hope!" Winter chortles to himself after he speaks, as if it were some sort of private joke with himself. He turns away, but glances back at you once more. "We shouldn't be late, these festivities only come once a year, you know!"
Casting your gaze up the hill that Winter has begun climbing, you still find no answers as to your destination; the hill crests steeply, and the top isn't visible, so who knows if this is your final destination?
Either way, you press on!

Winter Soulstice Day 10

Seasons greetings, everyone! We're already halfway through our holiday raffles, with Yule underway and Christmas in just a few days. To celebrate, this week will have several designs raffled, as well as some pretty big prizes! The Inpus Advent Calendar for today includes a very special Wispcat affiliate raffle - a custom from our lovely admin LeoxLinx!
If you haven't read any of the previous affiliate days, Inpus (rhymes with Octopus!) are a tiny humanoid plant based closed species, reminiscent of fairies or pixies! For every day that we have an affiliate raffle, if you join both of our holiday raffles, you get an extra ticket for both! The edge of the treeline isn't far now.
The sun had set during the storm, but you have no trouble seeing, as the freshly fallen snow glitters magnificently under the glow of the Aurora overhead, mirroring the twinkle of the stars now visible.
To your surprise, Winter veers slightly, turning away from the treeline and approaching a pile of large boulders, looking like enormous pillows under their blanket of snow.
"Here we are!" Winter cheers, easily climbing the rocks and standing momentarily at their peak. Calling you up, he speaks again, "Follow me!" and then... leaps into a gap in middle of the rocks.
Unsure what to make of this, you make your way up the rock formation. It takes you longer than it took Winter, but progress is steady. At the top, you can see the gap clearly now -- but, unexpectedly, you do not see Winter. Swallowing any doubts you may have, you leap down...

Happy Solstice, everyone, and a Merry Soulstice too. Today is the first day of Yule, and our raffles will run until it's final day, January 1st! It's a big day for our event, and we hope you like all of our offerings this week :)

After what felt like an eternity in the storm, suddenly, the clouds break.
Above you, a vibrant glow begins to cast itself across the otherwise darkening sky. Shades of green, blue, pink, and yellow shimmer and twist in ribbons, and the blizzard's clouds are scattered by the light of the Aurora.
"Ah, there we are!" Winter greets the glow above with a triumphant tone. "It's good to see you, old friend!"
The lights above seemed to twinkle in response, and Winter laughs warmly before looking back down at you. "Here's the light, as promised!"
Turning his gaze back to the landscape ahead of you, he nods to himself. "Let us press on!"

Happy holidays! No results posted today, as yesterday's raffle was posted so late, but tomorrow will see our Rare MYO and Inpus winter design winners announced!

Just as the clouds promised, snow begins to fall.
The snowflakes are gentle at first, but as their pace picks up, the visibility drops.
"Tuck in close, now!" Winter says, calling you close to him. Alongside him, you're shielded from the harshest of the winds, and while your progress forward is slower, it isn't halted entirely.
The storm reminds you of darker winter memories; icky, dreary days, the dark slush of ice mixed with mud, and the chill of fires snuffed out by wind.
"Hold fast, there is light at the end of this tunnel." Winter's voice is reassuring, and it takes work for you to heed his words, but you'll survive, just as you survived the cold, dark winters of your past.
You'll survive.

Seasons greetings, we're close to a third of the way through our holiday event! I wonder why there haven't been any Wispcat MYO Tickets raffled off yet... 😉 surely it couldn't have something to do with our End of Event Prize....! Oh well, you'll just have to stick around and find out! ❤️
Clouds gather overhead.
Whether or not they concern Winter, he shows no indication as he leads you across the snowy hills. It's unclear when they'll break, but it's clear a blizzard is brewing.
"Only a little way further now!" Winter's cheerful tone is unchanged, which might help ease your mind a bit.
In the distance is the edges of a forest, and you assume that's your destination. If you ask Winter, he merely laughs and tells you to wait and see, repeating that "It's not far, we're almost there!"

Greetings once again! No results posted today, as yesterday's raffle was posted so late, but tomorrow will see our two winter design winners announced -- however, the Inpus Advent Calender is raffling off a Rare Wispcat MYO Ticket today, along with an Uncommon Inpus MYO that allows use of two of their special holiday traits!

A river snakes its way across the landscape.
Its crystal blue color is striking against the powdery white snow and the deep greens of the foliage. A path of stepping stones crosses the rushing water, and as your guide comes up to it, he effortly bounds across it.
Winter turns back to you, beckoning you with one massive paw. "No time to waste, now!" His voice carries to you, urging you onwards.
The stones are wide and numerous, but the water rushes around them, enough to make many second guess whether it was wise to cross on such a cold day -- but the feeling of warmth that helped you match Winter's pace bolsters your confidence, and you cross them easily.
"Excellent! Let us press on!"

Winter Soulstice Day 3

Today marks our first day of raffle results; Prize winners for Day 1 and Day 2 will be listed below! A big thank you to all who joined, and a reminder that we have plenty more raffles this month, so even if you didn't win, you'll have plenty of opportunity. Lastly, the Winter Soulstice shop will be opening very soon, giving you a place to spend your Winter Motes!
Keeping up with the massive beast takes considerable effort.
Winter's bounding leaps fling snow into the air in great puffs, but, surprisingly, there are no craters left by his landings, as if he weighed nothing at all. The ice clinging to his ankles sparkles with each impact, leaving a trail of glittering snow in his wake.
"It's time to light the lights! To keep the fires stoked!" The merriment in Winter's voice is apparent, and the cheer feels almost infectious. "It's time to spread warmth and joy! To hold close that which you hold dear!"
As you follow Winter, you begin to notice that you aren't sinking into the snow either. The effort to match his speed is starting to ease, and there's a feeling of warmth in your chest that reminds you of fond memories.
"That's the spirit! We'll get where we're going in no time!"

Today is the first day of our affiliate raffles with Inpus! Inpus are a tiny humanoid plant based closed species, reminiscent of fairies or pixies, and we are so excited to start our festivities with them! For every day that we have an affiliate raffle, if you join both of our holiday raffles, you get an extra ticket for both! Inpus raffles are posted on their Toyhouse each day, and if you want to make sure you don't miss them, you can join their Discord for the announcement pings! Today, Inpus will be raffling O-0235: Holly in addition to their own holiday raffle.

Starting tomorrow, the event posts will be posted at 11am Site Time (PST, visible on the home page) and their raffles rolled the following day, with the results included in that day's post; e.g Day 4's raffle winner will be announced in Day 5's event post.
